It has been announced that Red Bull has appointed Tom McCullough as head of racing with effect from 2027.

McCullough, who is British and 50 years old, is the former Aston Martin performance director and replaces Gianpiero Lambiase, who moves to McLaren, as chief racing officer, by 2028.

Red Bull stated that they "looked forward to the wealth of experience and expertise he will bring to the role".

In his new role, he will run all aspects of the Red Bull race team under team principal, Laurent Mekies.
