E-Sports: ‘E-La Liga’ Ready to Go!
By Emre Bilginoglu, Attorney-at-Law, Istanbul, Turkey
One of the top European football leagues, La Liga, has launched an E-Sports division, ‘E-La Liga’.
Although the details of the project have still not been unveiled, it would be no surprise to see an official E-Sports’ football tournament for the league.
However, the goal of the E-Sports’ division of ‘La Liga’ is probably more than just giving a crown to the best E-Sports’ player.
‘E-La Liga’ is capable of achieving a great deal of sponsorship agreements and investors would be eager to step up to benefit from The Primera División.
The targeted demographic is capable of boosting the Spanish football economy and this would be a shrewd way increasing the interest in Spanish football.
