Football: Susanna Dinnage pulls out of the Premier League

It has been announced, on 30 December 2018, that Susanna Dinnage will not now be taking up the position of Chief Executive of the prestigious English Premier League (EPL), following her appointment which was announced in November 2018. See my GSLTR Post of 14 November 2018.
She will continue in her current role as Global President of ‘Animal Planet’, which is part of the Discovery Group of TV Channels.
No reasons for her change of heart have been given.
This has come as a great surprise and shock to the EPL, which, at the time, described her appointment as “the outstanding choice” and which she described as “a great privilege.”
The EPL has announced that the recruitment process to fill the appointment has restarted.
It will be interesting to see what happens next!
