By Prof Dr Ian Blackshaw
Instead of his trademark waistcoats, which he wore for the 2018 World Cup and other international tournaments, which became a talking point, Gareth Southgate, the England Manager, is now sporting a so-called ‘shacket’ for the Euro 2020 football tournament.
A ‘shacket’ is the latest men’s summer fashion item, which is a cross between a shirt and a jacket.
This item has not gone down well with fashion commentators, who have described his ‘shacket’, which retails at £199, as a wardrobe disaster.
In fact, it has been suggested that he ditches this item and spruces up his misfiring England team, especially after their lack lustre performance in their recent goalless draw with Scotland.
His sartorial dress sense has certainly come under fire!
