Athletes, especially those in high-profile sports, endure immense pressures to deliver consistently outstanding performances. These pressures extend beyond their athletic abilities and seep into their financial lives. The weight of expectations from themselves, families, agents, and sponsors can be overwhelming. They face constant demands to maintain their status and meet financial obligations, creating a cycle of stress and anxiety that has an impact on their overall mental health.
