The 2025 World Marble Championship, which is an annual event dating back to 1588, has taken place in the village of Tinsley Green, West Sussex, England, near Gatwick Airport, on 18 April.
The event has been held at The Greyhound Pub in the village since 1932.
The event comprises 15 or 16 teams, with six players per team, and competitors and spectators come from all over the world.
Julia McCarthy-Fox, from New Zealand, has been organising the event for 35 years and stated:
"I like it, as a tournament we have built it up to what it is today, and it is an old tradition we want to keep going."
Long may this tradition continue!
