Sportradar Expanding in E-Sports

By Emre Bilginoglu, Attorney-at-Law, Istanbul, Turkey Sportradar, which is a multinational corporation, with its headquarters in St Gallen, Switzerland, with thirty-five offices in twenty-four countries around the world, that gathers and analyzes sports data, has partnered with the E-Sports platform PvPro. PvPro is an E-Sports platform for online tournaments and leagues. Sportradar has been growing exponentially and its customers include bookmakers, national and international sports federations and media companies. Sportradar has a Security Services division, which is based in London, United Kingdom, that provides sports federations with information about possible match-fixing situations. This division monitors sports competitions for bodies such as FIBA, CONCACAF and the IOC. This is not the first time that Sportradar has partnered with an E-Sports organization. ESL has already partnered with Sportradar some two years ago, agreeing on providing the gaming group with extensive information regarding their tournaments and games data. The expansion of Sportradar’s presence in E-Sports marks the growth of the betting business in the new-age sports and, once again, demonstrates the expanding popularity of E-Sports.   Emre Bilginoglu may be contacted by e-mail at ‘This email address is being protected from spambots.
